Right in the
middle of something hard, I cry out to God, begging HIM to take this burden from
me. I can’t take it anymore, I can’t do this anymore, I don’t have it in me to
continue like this.
Gently, God says,
I know you can’t, but I can. My yoke is easy and my burden is light, let me
give you My strength, My grace, and My love. Just trust Me and I will see you
through. I am doing a good thing, just trust Me.
*Deep breath*
If God won’t
change my situation, then He needs to change me. My prayers change to, “give me
contentment, grace, and wisdom. Sustain me. Teach me, Lord, how to give of
myself from Your abundant grace and mercy. Show me how to bless others in the midst of this.”
Matthew 11:28-30
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy
laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you,
and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest
for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is
light.”

No advice. Just a big hug. The song "When We See Christ" came to mind when I was thinking about you. Maybe it will encourage you a little bit. Prayers too.
