To know wisdom and instruction, to understand words of insight, to receive instruction in wise dealing, in righteousness, justice, and equity; to give prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the youth- Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance, to understand a proverb and a saying, the words of the wise and their riddles. Proverbs 1:2-6

Archery and discipling

The other day I found the archery trail shoot here, it was pretty neat. It's 65 acres for me to go practice if I like. It's only $5 a day person or $60 for the first year for the family, seems reasonable. It's kinda like golf in that you go from one target to another, they change the targets every once in a while so if you come often you wont have to be always shooting at the same thing from the same spot. They also have a couple loaner bows if you don't happen to have one. I'm glad I have mine :-) and my quiver I finished making the other day. God is so good to me, I don't even know :-)

When I got back from the archery range I found my new CD's I ordered on discipleship. I am so eager to have someone teach me all the things I should be learning. If it doesn't formally get started I'm going to have to beg one of the older ladies at church to teach me and train me on all things good, but mainly Titus 2 stuff. Either way, I pray God will be glorified.

Good book to read: With the Master in the School of Tested Faith by Susan J. Heck (it's a study for women)

super hot!

It has been and apparently will continue to be pretty darn hot here. Yesterday it was 113 degrees and today was supposed to be even hotter, but I'm not sure about that. Anyway, the heat is compounded by out swamp cooler that doesn't work very well when it's over 100 degrees out side. It just blows warm air at us. I was home all day with the kids yesterday and it was too hot for the thermostat to register the inside temperature, so I assume that means around 90 degrees inside the house.

I am also potty training my nephew, and that is going really well :) I'm really excited for him :)
